“Each file has a throbbing life behind it and the employees should examine them with a positive attitude,” With this vision in mind the Government is initiating Kerala Administrative Service, strengthening the process of Decentralisation and trying to deliver Local level service more effectively without any element of corruption. A network connecting more than 10000 officials (offices) equipped with Modern technology is constituted to strengthen the redressing of grievances of the citizen. The counter Straight Forward was launched in October 2016 to receive petitions from public.

Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund is an emergency assistance release mechanism granting immediate relief to families and individuals distressed by calamity, loss of life due to accidents and chronic diseases.

This is the model that seeks to use the information communication technologies ,so that the grievance redressal system can be made more transparent over comeing the limitations of the “Totanham” system. People can lodge their complaint from any place having internet facility.

Application for Financial assistance from Chief Ministers Distress relief fund can be submitted in the prescribed format through online or through Akshya Kendra. From there on all reports are pushed electronically at all levels for speedy processing.

There is a supervision system to ensure the proper settlement of grievances/cmdrf applications. Multiple search options to know status. Use Docket number for search .Do not know docket no.-Get one time password (OTP) using the registered mobile no. for searching status
You will get notifications by providing your Mobile number
If the applicant has a mobile number, additional service is available to know the status of the complaint/ cmdrf Application. If you do not own your mobile then give the mobile number of your relative/friend
You will get SMS Notifications when your complaint/cmdrf Application is forwarded to various offices.
